 Program Manager, IHPTET and VAATE DoD Engine Technology Demonstration Programs:Program Manager over all aspects of Government funded expendable turbine engine technology demonstration programs, from proposal through demo, including component design and system performance, materials and manufacturing development. Wrote and managed winning proposal for USAF Mach 4 expendable engine design and demonstration. Directed all design, analysis and system testing activities, including successful test and incorporation of new compact afterburner fuel injection system (patent 6925812), and high temperature metallic and composite materials process development.  Program Manager, TurboRocket Programs:Initiated and executed first WI rocket engine component development program. Successfully demonstrated NASA-funded high volume centrifugal liquid rocket engine injection system as technical validation of novel TurboRocket concept (patents 6205770, 6220016). Successfully demonstrated new generation copper alloy combustion chamber material processing and manufacture through hot fire testing. Manager, Combustion, Fuel Injection and Heat Exchanger Systems Team:Direct supervision of engineering teams responsible for combustors, fuel injection systems, and heat exchangers, across all development and production engine programs. Major systems developed for the FJ44 commercial turbofan engine, Army Comanche SPU, and General Motors hybrid turbo-alternator.
