Today the company is active in three countries (D, CH,F), has also set up first activities in Eastern Europe and has convinced a quite impressive number of clients (e.g. Sony, Credite Suisse, PWC, Otto). As the only member of the executive board, I had to take care of all segements and responsibilities myself. Since a CTO and a CSO joined the executive board, I have kept the areas of legal, finance, IR, PR & Marketing.

Verlag Dr. Otto Schmidt - together with Beck - are the leading publishers for the subjects of law & tax in Germany. As a family stockholder, I joined the company in 2004 and was nominated for the board. As the stockholder representative I was sent to the team carrying out the negotiations for a new strategic investor - a full M&A process, which finally brought in the Holzbrinck group as an investor. At present I am still a board member of th holding company.

MLP is the leading German financial service company for graduates and people with high income. 3.000 consultants with a full bank license advice appr. 750.000 challenging clients. A corporate university takes care of highly qualified and approved training. Initially I started my career as a junior consultant for a target group of lawyers, later followed by positions as a managing consultant and a promotion to senior consultant specialising in very wealthy clients and CEOs of SME companies. In my function as an associate professor, I provided Sales & Consulting training courses for sales & consulting.

Self-contained development of an entrepeneur network for the leaders of SMEs in Bonn. The network started with 6 participients and grew to 80 regulary participating CEOs, financially and administratively supported by the economy development department of the Bonn town council.I jont the initiative as a founder.

In 1997 the German Attorneys Association (DAV) came up with the plan to establish a special magazine for young attorneys. The responsible business manager retained me with this challenge. The PDA was the successor organisation of the German Afghan Committee and the Foundation aid in need (HIN). GAC gendered medical and reconstruction aid for Afghanistan, HIN focussed on food aid programmes in Angola. Due to the defeat of the Taliban troops and the fall of the Berlin wall, most of the organisation`s targets and activities were aborted. In that period I was retained to form a new structure with new targets. Both organisations were administrativly joined to form a new organisation focussing only on medical aid in war areas. Target countries have been Afghanistan, Angola and Sudan. My career began as a specialist for logistics and security. Later I also took over the communication division before I was elected as the new executive president.

The conservative Bonner Friedensforum e.V. – a peace organisation – spoke up for human rights issues and advocated the end of the division of Germany. When Gorbatchev visited Bonn, wherever he went he was greeted by posters showing him with a pretty girl and the slogan: “Dear Gorbi, you also like to globetrot, only Gabi from Dresden may not.” The poster went around the world published also in newspapers in USA and Hong Kong. We achieved the same response quote with our special undercover action to support the new parties in former East Germany with material and consulting.

At that time Europe was still divided by the Berlin Wall. As a communication specialist in our team, I was in charge of establishing and maintaining the mobile communication connections for the headquaters of the navy, army and the air force. I was trained as a German officer and later had to lead and train a platoon of 5 to 40 soldiers as their platoon leader.
