My first contact with programming and web applications was at the age of 12, when I came up with the idea of creating a website that included a news system and a file upload feature. At that moment, I had no idea what the field of technology would become and how my career would unfold. But I remember having a lot of fun in that whole adventure, spending hours in front of the computer; that's where I found myself as a person and, as I would discover years later, as a professional. I work with teams responsible for analyzing and refining requirements, architecture, and developing large-scale web applications. I'm a big enthusiast of software engineering processes such as Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Domain Driven Design (DDD), code review, Continuous Integration / Delivery (CI/CD), and I've had experience with agile methods/frameworks throughout my journey (XP, Scrum, and Kanban). I believe that taking care of the delivered code, making it readable, testable, and scalable, results in a product that requires much less maintenance, costs, and ultimately provides greater satisfaction to the end customer. My journey so far has been very rewarding because I've had people by my side who have helped me in my development and learning. I am fully convinced that technology has the power to transform people's lives, whether they are the ones using it or the ones working with it. It's an incredibly powerful tool for inclusion, and I want to be a contact for anyone who wants to learn more about the field and maybe how to start in it. More important than the software I've helped develop are the people for whom they are created and the people who built them. Today, I have the same joy for what I do as I did at 12 when I wrote my first line of code.
