Digital transformation, Innovation, strategist, technologist, investor, speaker, writer, curator, advisor, mentor, board member and a Fintech specialist.In 2000, together with other partners, I started the online operation of AGORA, a broker dealer in Brazilian Stock Exchange (Bovespa). After 3 years it became the leader in local market, innovating in business and technology, and using Neuromarketing as a tool for optimizing User Experience. The company was Case of Success of different partners like Oracle, Microsoft, Cisco and HP. In 2008 AGORA was bought by Bradesco for around USD500 million.In 2010, I founded ORAMA, which was considered the first pure digital bank in Brazil. It was focused on investments, and the purpose was to give access to Retail investors to the best financial products of the market, before that just available for Private customers. The business model was quite disruptive as it allowed an individual investor with R$1,000 to invest in a Fund that used to require U$1,000,000. ORAMA was also disruptive on Technology. It was the first Financial Institution in Latin America 100% in the Cloud. In November of 2013 we were awarded with a great recognition in Las Vegas, at the Re-invent conference of AWS (Amazon Web Services), for Innovation in Financial Services. On 2014 I sold my shares of ORAMA and decided to go back to the corporate world, joining Accenture in December of 2014, as a Managing Director in charge of Innovation in Latin America.During the last 10 years I was an Angel Investor in 50+ startups, most of them focused on Fintech. I was on the Board of Advisors of some of them, and also a member of the Investment Committee of Wayra (Telefonica Group). I’m a Board Member at ABFintechs (Brazilian Fintechs Association) and at Anjos do Brasil. I was also a Member of the Board of Banco do Brasil, bafore joining Banco BV.I'm the editor of "Finnovation", the #1 fintech blog in Brazil and I write columns at Jornal Estado de Sao Paulo (Estadao), Jornal Valor and Revista EPOCA Negocios. I'm also a volunteer mentor at Endeavor for more than 10 years and a Global Faculty at Singularity University.
