I currently work in the electrical harness development team at PAC, providing technical and operational support for the construction of electric and hybrid buses manufactured by GILLIG in the United States. My main responsibilities include:Electrical Harness Design and Development: Involvement in the design and development of electrical harness systems, including technical specification, component selection, and material sourcing, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and performance requirements. Tools: Zuken E3, Siemens NX, Teamcenter.Manufacturing Process Support: Collaborate with the production and assembly teams for electrical harnesses, providing technical solutions to manufacturing challenges, installation manuals to support assembly on the production line, implementing process improvements, and solving quality issues.Electrical System Integration: Work directly on the integration of electrical systems with the bus's key subsystems, including batteries, electric motors, and control systems, ensuring functionality and energy efficiency.Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with mechanical, electrical, quality, and production engineering teams to ensure the electrical harnesses meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Product Engineer responsible for electrical/electronic distribution system project development, focused on :- Technical Specification: Responsible to specify the component according to standards, validation, and Electrical Diagram and 3D model from Customer;- Product Change Control: Monitoring and controlling the product change flow. Focused on the teamwork integration among Engineering, Sales and Quotation departments, improving tracking and response of proposals.- Component Selection: Used internal best practices, Bill Of Design, Component Localization, Component Reuse and Supplier Base Optimization.- Prototypes: Conduct the prototype Lab with the modifications requested by the customers.- Provide a Markup drawing to manufacture team to implement the changes requested by customer- Responsible to provide all the Bill of Materials needed to produce the electrical harnesses- Design Review: responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing Boards, 2D Drawing, 3D drawing and electrical harness are update according to the last revison released.

Product Engineer responsible for electrical/electronic distribution system project development, focused on :- Technical Specification: Responsible to specify the component according to standards, validation, and Electrical Diagram and 3D model from Customer;- Product Change Control: Monitoring and controlling the product change flow. Focused on the teamwork integration among Engineering, Sales and Quotation departments, improving tracking and response of proposals.- Component Selection: Used internal best practices, Bill Of Design, Component Localization, Component Reuse and Supplier Base Optimization.- Prototypes: Conduct the prototype Lab with the modifications requested by the customers and negotiate the schedule with the Lab to meet the customer delivery dates.- Global Team Meeting: Take in part of global meetings to align the status for global projects.- Designer: To provide updated drawings for customers based on 3D drawings and also to the manufacturing engineering or prototype to produce them. Good practices in some softwares: Catia V5, NX 11.0 (Unigraphics), AutoCAD WhiP, LDorado and good knowledge to read electrical schematics.

Responsible for the development, release and modification of projects for internal and external customers, preparation and monitoring of prototypes, and attendance the manufacture resources and assistance to manufacturing / quality, release documentation and quotations. Focused in design and develop DMU (Digital Mockup) automotive electrical harnesses ensuring an installation of all electrical components harnesses and analyzing interferences.Customers: VW (MAN), General Motors, Mercedez-Benz, Peugeot-Citroen.
