Responsible for the maintenance, development and evolutions of the EUMETSAT Data Web facing services such as:- Product Navigator to discover EUMETSAT and EUM partner products,- Earth Observation Portal the single point of access for users to order/subscribe to all online and offline EUMETSAT products,- On-demand Internet data access services,- EUMETView based on OGC Web services and allowing users to visualize and access on the web EUMETSAT products,- EUMETSAT User Notification Service (UNS) managing the user base and the distribution of daily/weekly messages to the users,- Legacy web services for managing some data handling aspects of older missions.Key responsibilities are:- Management of a team of three individuals to maintain/develop those services,- Management of contracts and procurements with industry for evolving/developing EUMETSAT Data Web Services,- Driving technically the long term evolution of the EUMETSAT Data Web Services and insure that they will be able to answer the needs of further EUMETSAT programmes,- Coordination/chairing and participation to international working group on Data Service within WMO or CGMS to represent EUMETSAT expertise,- Participation to interoperability projects and working groups to ease the access to EUMETSAT products to a larger user community and foster better scientific collaboration on earth observation,- Use of cost effective state of the art technologies to provide the best possible Data Web Services to the EUMETSAT users,- Architecture/Design, development, maintenance of the EUMETSAT Data Web Services.

Responsible for the development and delivery of Multi Mission Systems during the EPS second generation programme development. The EUMETSAT Multi Mission Systems are:- The Data Centre managing the Eumetsat Satellite data archive, - The Dissemination organising the real-time and non real-time distribution of Eumetsat products to its community of users, - The Monitoring and Control applications for operating 24/7 the EUMETSAT satellites and data handling services,- The Infrastructure/Network facilities hosting and providing the connectivity to all the operational EUMETSAT services.I was in charge of managing and coordinating the efforts of the different involved teams during the requirement, design, implementation, testing and integration phases of the EPS-SG programme to provide a Multi Mission infrastructure "EPS-SG" ready. I have lead the MME developments during the EPS-SG requirement definition phase and supported the Overall Ground Segment Requirement Review as part of the EPS-SG Ground Segment team. I have lead and managed four engineers to develop the EPS-SG MME requirements as Services Declarations documents. As part of the Services provision I have also coordinated the development of simulators for the Data Centre and the Dissemination Services to facilitate the integration later with the contracted out EPS-SG Data Processing and Mission Control Systems procurements.
