Responding to the demand of our clients, Electra Events & Exhibitions is now present in India with a full fledge production capability. I relocated to New Delhi to lead this exciting strategic expansion.

Responsible to plan and oversee execution of all aspects of the event management process for internal and external events to ensure a positive customer experience and to generate maximum awareness/ exposure/ goodwill for the brand/ product/ service of the Business Unit.Key responsabilities• Develop and ensure the execution of the annual events calendar within budget and in line with Group and Principal branding standards and guidelines..• Develop concepts for each event, supervise venue selection, logistics management and ensure smooth roll out of the events.• Coordinate with the Marketing Operations team, clients, Principals and suppliers on specific requirements / details of the event to ensure that the programme/event meets the needs and specifications of the client, and respecting budgetary constraints.• Identify suitable suppliers, negotiate favorable rates and monitor compliance to quality and cost standards.• Identify a suitable venue for the events and provide approval on specific additional requirements submitted post brief on required materials, food and entertainment, for effective brand presentation.• Visit the site of the sponsorship programme or event and ensure display materials are placed so as to ensure maximum publicity/ exposure to the client’s product / brand / service• Ensure that all elements pertaining to each event are successfully completed within set timelines and budgets• Monitor continuously all the details of organising the event to ensure Group standards are maintained throughout and the image of the brand/product/company is enhanced.• Prepare and submit reports periodically, to monitor the costs incurred per programme.• Keep abreast of competitor events and activities, modifying events plans as appropriate and providing reports on the same to the General Manager Marketing.Participated in the hire and managed a team of 4 executives.
