I am currently working with Eurocities to design and develop the organization's training and capacity-building program for city policy-makers and civil servants.My role involves identifying skills gaps within member cities; developing meaningful partnerships with expert institutions; designing programmes connected with the ongoing work within Eurocities, and promoting ownership of the initiative by the network's leadership.

My work at UCLG Committee on Social Inclusion, Participatory Democracy and Human Rights was marked by the Habitat III process, which I monitored and reported to the Committee’s coordinator to capitalise for political advocacy purposes. I successfully helped to organise the 6th Human Rights Cities Forum (Gwangju, South Korea), as well as the Committee’s activities at COP 21 (Paris, France), UCLG Congress (Bogotá, Colombia), and Habitat III Conference (Quito, Ecuador). I was also responsible for coordinating the Committee’s communications, including online advocacy campaigns, drafting news and translating articles (Spanish, English and French). In this capacity, I represented the Committee at the communications working group of the Global Platform for the Right to the City, a political advocacy group that saw the right to the city included for the first time in an official UN document (the New Urban Agenda).

I also drafted a research report on the politics of bureaucracy and social change.
