My responsibilities involve extracting data from multiple first and third parties sources and model them to provide meaningful insights to the business.

As a Clinical Scientific Associate I am responsible of scientific advising to health professionals. Mainly I contribute to spread: 1) information about Multiple Sclerosis and its treatment 2) knowledge about the benefits of innovating Genzyme therapies. Together with the Medical Department we implement cutting-edge medical educational programs. I actively take part of scientific activities, trainings programs and national or international meetings. I introduce the marketing strategies of the business unit into my working territory. I manage and implement specials and innovative projects that have impact in the goals and results of the business.

As a PhD student I had to research about new genes involved in neurodegeneration. I used the fruit fly as a model animal.My skills were: PCR, qPCR, Western Blotting, fly husbandry, bioinformatic research, molecular biology techniques, cell culturing and transfection, protein expression and purification, in situ hybridisation, confocal microscopy, among others.
