The Founding Director of Fundación Placemaking México drives innovation and forges key partnerships to advance placemaking nationwide. With a chair on the board (COB) alongside the President and Executive Director, this role is pivotal in setting strategic directions aligned with both global and local needs. The Founding Director plays a crucial role in developing collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders and contributing to the design and management of programs. Additionally, this position encompasses fundraising responsibilities, advocating for placemaking policies, and enhancing local placemaking skills.

A foundation that supports organizations in Mexico to implement Placemaking projects through training; technical assistance; in-kind donations; design, construction, and public space activation. Has supported 300 communities around Mexico. This includes 100 public spaces donated by the Coca-Cola Foundation and its Mexican bottlers; 50 friendly places for early childhood donated by the FEMSA Foundation; and 20 projects to help restaurants in Mexico City after the COVID pandemic, donated by American Express.
