About Guillermo Calderon

Hi I'm Guillermo Calderon. I am a graduate of the University of California Berkeley. I studied Society & Environment with a concentration in Justice and Sustainability. Long before attending college growing up in Richmond, CA, a community deeply impacted by environmental injustices. I experienced the effects of air pollution on the health of people of color. Therefore I believe that environmental work is tied and essential for building an equitable society.I am an advocate for environmental justice. My most recent role was as a current Development Intern with the Sierra Club SF Bay Chapter. I have received training in Salesforce and cloud-based communication software, Additionally, I have experience with event planning.I am also experienced in conducting research. As a Research Fellow with the Latinxs and the Environment Initiative I designed and conducted a policy analysis on drinking water regulations and water management plans.
