|ES|Licenciado en Biología por la UAM de Madrid y Máster en Biotecnología Médica y Farmacéutica por la Universidad IMC de Krems. Colaboré como interino universitario en un proyecto de investigación sobre los mecanismos de la infección por SARS-CoV-2 en el laboratorio i+12 del Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre de Madrid, bajo la supervisión del Dr. Rafael Delgado Vázquez. Como investigador en el Instituto de Ingeniería Bioquímica de la Universidad de Stuttgart, trabajé en ingeniería metabólica, en el desarrollo y optimización de un bioproceso para la producción de Artemisinina, terpenoide contra la malaria recomendado por la OMS. Mi tesis se centró en la adaptación en laboratorio de una cepa recombinante de E. coli, bajo la presión de un medio deficiente definido. Se obtuvieron concentraciones optimistas en fermentación a escala de laboratorio con el análisis de metabolitos en el proceso.Mi objetivo profesional es contribuir al avance de la biotecnología y los bioprocesos, contribuyendo hasta ahora a la biomedicina mediante el estudio, desarrollo e innovación de compuestos de origen biológico.|EN|Graduated in Biology from the UAM in Madrid and MSc in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from the IMC University of Krems. I was an intern college contributor in a research project on the mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2 infection at the i+12 laboratory of the Hospital 12 de Octubre in Madrid, under the supervision of Dr. Rafael Delgado Vázquez. As a researcher at the Institute for Biochemical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, I worked on metabolic engineering, in the development and optimisation of a bioprocess for the production of Artemisinin, the WHO-recommended anti-malarial terpenoid. My thesis focused on the laboratory adaptation of a modified E. coli producing strain, under the pressure of a defined deficient medium. Optimistic concentrations were obtained in laboratory scale fermentation with the nalysis of metabolites in the process.My professional goal is to contribute to the advancement of biotechnology and bioprocesses, so far contributing to biomedicine by developing and innovating compounds of biological origin aimed at biomedicine. I am also driven by the environment and its stabilisation. I am looking for learning opportunities and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and leading biotech organisations.
