I work as legal manager for the EMEA Region at TrustLaw, the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s global pro bono legal service. We connect high-impact NGOs and social enterprises working to create social and environmental change with the best law firms and corporate legal teams, to provide them with free legal assistance. With a community of more than 6,500 members in over 190 countries, TrustLaw is the world’s largest global pro bono network.

Worked as a legal consultant for USAID's PREVENIR Project in Peru, assisting the Peruvian government in combating environmental crimes such as illegal logging, illegal mining, and trafficking of endangered species. My responsibilities included establishing and leading an executive committee dedicated to proposing key regulations and policies to prevent environmental crimes. Additionally, I participated in the committee responsible for designing and conducting a Moot Court centered on environmental crimes and sustainable development, organized by Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).

For over a decade, I was part of the regulatory and public law practice area at Baker McKenzie, where I acquired extensive experience in advising and leading regulatory processes. Among my responsabilities were preparing detailed reports on administrative law and regulatory compliance, offering strategic guidance on the development and implementation of public policies and regulatory procedures, and leading a regulatory team in conducting due diligence for transactions across various sectors, including real estate, agriculture, telecommunications, and ports. I also provided counsel on sanctioning and disciplinary procedures, assisted clients in obtaining government authorizations such as licenses, certifications, and registries, and supported public agencies in drafting regulations for environmental protection, telecommunications, and infrastructure. Additionally, I advised companies on their participation in public auctions and the negotiation and execution of concession agreements, while also aiding government agencies in drafting public auction rules and public-private partnership contracts.
