I am a biologist with the specialty of biochemistry (University of Valencia), taking the doctoral courses at the Jaume I University of Castellón, and a master's degree in Food Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. More than 20 years of experience in applied biotechnology companies, in the environmental health sector. Committed to multidisciplinary projects (biochemistry, microbiology, engineering) with finalist vision (scientific-technical, commercial and business), generating know-how, patents, peer-review publications and disruptive products in biochemistry (DBO, toxicity, microbial load) and microbiology (pathogens of importance in public health, such as Legionella) environmental, using fast-acting methods and biosensors.For the last 15 years I am Scientific Director in a company of which I have been co-founder and promoter. I got the first quick test to quantify Legionella in water in just 1 hour, validated and certified by AOAC-RI. With its own technology, horizontal and patented (in the USA, Europe and Japan), from the collaboration of the Institute of Catalysis and Petroleochemistry (ICP) of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC, Professors José Manuel Guisán and Roberto Fernández-Lafuente). In the last 3 years I have successfully completed a EU SME-Instrument project of the Horizon 2020 programme to automate the remote determination of Legionella, in collaboration with prestigious engineers.I participate as a teacher in courses organized by public health administrations, town halls and university, and as a speaker at various national and international congresses, with a significant dedication to scientific and technical publication and seminars.I define myself as a versatile professional, committed to health, education and progress, from honesty, cooperation, trust, and creativity.
