Christophe Guillet is an Associate Professor in Mathematics and Applications at Arts et Métiers Institute of Chalon sur Saône.He holds a competitive examination from the "Agrégation externe" of Mathématics, a Master degree in Fundamental Astronomy, Space Geodesy and Celestial Mechanics from the Paris Observatory, and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Franche-Comté.He is a member of the Physical and Numerical Systems Engineering Laboratory (LISPEN EA 7515) which brings together the skills of teacher-researchers from the Arts et Métiers campuses in Aix-en-Provence, Cluny (Image Institute in Chalon-sur-Saône) and Lille around multi-physical and virtual dynamic systems for the Industry of the Future. His scientific work focuses on the one hand on the study of the human factor in virtual reality and more particularly on the optimisation of the interaction between the subject and his virtual environment and on the other hand on the study of the perception-action coupling and more precisely on the role of the motor repertoire in the visual perception of movement. The objective is to extract individual sensorimotor signatures in these two linked contexts and to develop predictive models based on the combination of TDA (persistent homology) and automatic learning methods through the analysis of recorded kinematic and physiological data (EEG, eye tracking, EDA, EMG, heart rate). Numerous national (CAPS INSERM U1093, CIAD EA 7533) and international (KIT Germany, UTP Malaysia, Institute of Geometry U. Graz Austria) scientific collaborations are developed.
