Hi! My name is Gui Soares. I'm a Creative Director, Strategist and Design Thinker from Rio de Janeiro, living in São Paulo for a long time now.I started my career as an illustrator (I still sketch a few things now and then) and later on went to college to study Design. After that I became an art director (and later on a Creative Director) and ventured in advertising, collaborating on projects at companies like JWT, Isobar, Gringo.nu, r/ga, Unit9, Handmade UX, Publicis Groupe among others, handling diverse clients such as Coca-Cola, TIM Mobile, Absolut Vodka, Santander, Unilever, Adidas, Nike, Samsung, Fuji Film, FEI, Johnson & Johnson, Itaú Bank, CBMM, Sam's Club, Porto Seguro and many more, winning some awards such was Cannes, The One Show, Wave Awards and others. During that time I graduated to an ACD position and eventually became a Creative Director. Back in 2017, I read Jake Knapp's book and my life changed! I became a proper 'Design Thinker', started working at Handmade Design and learned my ropes as a design strategist, researcher and workshop facilitator. Since then I've been lucky enough to have worked with clients such as Adidas, Meta, Santo Concreto, Porto Seguro, Mindlab, Oxford University, Hyatt Hotels, HEVVA, Absolut Vodka, Coca-Cola Company, FujiFilm, Companhia Tradicional do comércio among many others.Wether it's to design an experience, product, service, brand or campaign, I can definitely help. :)So, this has been my journey since then. To help, collaboratively, figure out what can be gathered, filtered, analyzed, designed, adjusted, tweaked, scrapped, tested and re-iterated to create a better world! And how can we pull it off?
