Master and PhD in Design by Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Guilherme Xavier is a researcher linked to DeSSIn, researcher at LINC-Design, supervisor of NINJA, Coordinator of PIUES and member of Digital Media Structuring Teaching Core within Arts and Design Department of the same University. With interest of study on analogical and digital games in their productive, projective, interactive, visual, social and historical dimensions, he works teaching academic disciplines related to design, imagery and interactive digital media; and also features as ludologist and consultant for integrating educational, instructional, and artistic strategies with entertainment approaches. Journal editor of Acta Ludica (ISSN 2527-0257) and game designer at Donsoft Entertainment, as well as author and speaker at symposiums and conferences in the field of electronic entertainment, he researches and produces science fiction literature, taking the genre as opportunity to discuss trends in social, technical and environmental spheres.
