I am a development professional with post-graduate degrees in Development Studies, Political Science and Crises & Disaster Management. I have over 15 years of professional experience with public sector institutions, UN agencies, donors, and civil society organizations. I have attained considerable hands-on experience in program development, project management, people and operations management, evidence-based programming, monitoring & evaluation, and donor reporting. Implemented various programs and projects in different thematic areas i.e. governance and public policy, local government, urban governance, rule of law, human and institutional development, citizen engagement, health, education, food security, sustainable livelihoods & resilience, community-based disaster risk management, and advocacy. Having worked with public sector institutions, UN agencies, various donors, and CSOs in Pakistan, I have a very clear understanding of the development and public policy issues and challenges, in the light of which I can effectively assess the needs and their solutions.I have extensive experience in developing and strengthening professional relationships with the government entities, donors, and key stakeholders for the successful completion of donors funded projects. During my career, I have successfully managed multi-million dollars portfolios of the different donors' funded projects (USAID, DFID, JICA, SDC, UNDP, IOM, UNFAO, etc,). I have the ability to quickly adapt to a new working environment. I am always able to maintain a sense of humor under pressure. Being poised and competent with demonstrated ability, I can easily transcend cultural differences.
