Oversees the efficient and profitable sale of products in the Microgrid, e-mobility, CHP, and Prime Power sectors and is responsible for managing strategic relationships with energy service companies and technology providers, ensuring ongoing partnerships that meet the needs of these markets. The role focuses on maximizing customer success and profitability.

Brought new light to fundamental challenges in global energy (electricity, gas) markets to transition to alow-carbon energy economy to facilitate information exchange among WNU Fellows.

Founded a global advisory firm to accelerate the development of Regional Energy Hubs (REH) for low-carbon energy asset optimization, selection, and investment. Provided strategic / asset management energy advisory for industry associations, utilities, trading houses, and markets (exchanges and TSOs.) Established consultancy services for (i) nuclear, gas, renewable, and transmission projects, (ii) engineering projects in terms of design, product development, and field services, and (iii) witness advisory practices.

Carried out research/development activities to extend the REH Framework work performed fordissertation as a Ph.D. candidate and published journal articles.

Taught undergraduate courses and contributed to curriculum design and development. Developed andlectured a course on energy economics and markets based on the integrated value chain and liberalization perspectives.

Chaired and coordinated electricity and natural gas market activities on behalf of EFET in a special task force for Turkey, presented and reported on liberalization efforts of energy markets to EFET members in Europe. Managed operations for the market, including developing an annual work plan, leading policy advocacy coordination, change managing, preparing strategic marketing plans (conferences, lectures, seminars), and administering the annual budget. Represent EFET in meetings with government officials and key stakeholders and host visits with member company executives. Identify key policy issues impacting the innovative energy positions and develop industry-aligned positions.

Negotiated, managed, and monitored wholesale electricity trading contracts with regional/sectoral counterparties. Building new and expanding existing relationships with counterparties to develop new business in the Balkans. Sourced, developed, tested, and implemented an ETRM suite for the firm’s portfolio.

Managed and monitored investment portfolios of energy commodities: power, LNG, emissions, and coal. Reviewed clients’ goals and developed investment strategies to support objectives with acceptable risk. Effectively used ETRM metrics and data visualization to report progress and support data-driven decision-making at an organizational level while expanding the first-ever multi-commodity trading house / JV with Akfel in the region.

Negotiated a wide range of consultancy/commercial contracts required for the business development of thermal energy projects for a target portfolio. While managing a staff of five, developed concluded wholesale power trading contracts, established a financial model for the EBITDA process/forecast, and critically evaluated futures trading to be adapted in the Turkish electricity market. Managed the business development of renewable thermal power plant projects and market design opportunities in futures and options trading. Established EBITDA process for the management committee while managing a staff of six.

Managed a field services branch to align with business development requirements of CANDU retubing and refurbishment opportunities: performance working staff of over 50 people with a branch budget of over 4 MUSD. Managed to develop and implement CANDU mechanical fuel channel installation tooling for Bruce Power Unit 1 -2 nuclear powerplant refurbishment and retube. Managed the design, development, procurement, site implementation, and mobilization of section resources of 15 people. Managed a radioactive laboratory for research and development activities to develop mechanical tooling (pressure tube sampling) in CANDU nuclear power plants worldwide. Received a first-ever customer/team formation award in CANDU Field Services.

Managed oil and gas reservoir evaluation operations for oil and gas companies such as Chevron, Texaco, Occidental, and ExxonMobil while field managing a staff of three.
