Initiated a statewide coalition of oral health champions to support implementation of the Maryland Healthy Smiles Program (e.g., Medicaid) Adult Dental Waiver for Dually-Eligible Adults. Executed a survey of participating dentists to identify areas of administrative and clinical improvement for the program which resulted in expansion of services offered and reduction in administrative burden for participating dentists. Conducted an audit of the Maryland Healthy Smiles online provider database, identifying multiple barriers to access for individuals which resulted in rapid improvement by the state and the vendor, improving program participants' ability to access care. Worked with research partners to conduct a replication of MDAC's 2016 Emergency Department study with additional areas of analysis, including prenatal/postpartum ED visits for dental codes, opioid prescriptions in ED visits for dental visits, etc. Publication in progress. Contributed to a study on oral cancer epidemiology with coauthors; publication in progress.

Master trainer, facilitator and program designer in the field of reproductive and sexual health. With my deep expertise in contraceptive counseling, adolescent brain development, adult learning strategies, effective group facilitation and dynamic public speaking, I designed, implemented and evaluated programs that work. Deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative instrument development; research design and data analysis; in-depth interviewing and sampling.I also provided resume and cover letter writing/polishing and interview coaching for job seekers with a specific expertise in public health and the nonprofit sector.

Internal lead for project to implement evidence-based contraception practices at a national subset of health centers. -Adapt training model from original RCT format to scale-up format. -Deliver training to health center staff at 20 locations throughout the US.-Manage complex logistics for multi-disciplinary, multi-institutional team traveling for training. -Develop and manage $1.5m cross-departmental budget and reconcile expenditures. -Create communication materials for internal and external audiences.

I led a team of educators and trainers who provided: sex education programs to youth and adults; trainings to youth-serving professionals; and internal new employee and ongoing training for PPM staff. I maintained responsibility for sourcing and managing substantial external funding for our work.

I coordinated quantitative research and evaluation activities for my department, which included the design, implementation and analysis of small and large scale, representative instruments through online and in person channels. I also developed and disseminated data visualization products to communicate to various audiences (e.g., students, administrators, media) key findings from our research efforts. As the Assessment Chair of the campus-wide Wellness Network, I worked with partners to identify priority research questions, disseminate findings and prioritize efforts based on data. I ran the Healthy Sexuality Education Program, which includes campus-wide initiatives to promote sexual health and healthy decisionmaking among students. I also directed the Healthy Sexuality Peer Educator program which, through both academic and hands-on training, prepares approximately 25 students per year to be changemakers on campus. I managed the Know Your Line campaign, a social marketing effort designed to reduce high risk drinking among students. The grant-funded campaign has tangible (e.g., t-shirts, stickers, posters) and social media components.

I developed online and print resources to support Kaiser Family Foundation's Entertainment Media Partnerships program, which runs public service campaigns on MTV, BET, and Vh1 around HIV and adolescent sexual health.

I worked with the marketing team at Trojan to research ways to more effectively market condoms to women, gay men, and African-American and Latino populations. I developed a nonprofit partnership plan and marketing/media proposals for specific brands (Naturalamb) and populations.

I worked with faculty on research projects on abstinence only sex education policy and health impact; polling research on abortion and reproductive health; development of media strategy and messaging to alter the American political debate around women's rights.

I answered sexuality and sexual health questions for GoAskAlice.com, Columbia University's award-winning question and answer site for college health.

Based on state education policy research, I developed web-based, year-length high school courses in consumer math, US history, and health.
