Providing Peace Corps Georgia's grant program management and oversight; determining funding needs and negotiating new funds; Working with funding partners/donors (serve as day-to-day liaison with in-country funding partners - USAID or other); Responsible for financial management of grant funds; Orienting and training Volunteers; managing the Small Grants Committee; Advise Peace Corps Volunteers on accessing grant funds and developing projects, providing feedback on applications; responsible for project review, approval, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation; Providing programmatic, training, and administrative support to the Peace Corps Georgia’s Individual and Organizational Development (IOD) project, directly supporting the Individual and Organizational Development (IOD) Program Manager to fulfill the objectives of the project and to support Volunteers working in this project.

Job responsibilities included providing support for all programmatic and training aspects of the Volunteer experience, including project design and review; site identification and development; development of position descriptions; identification, survey, and selection of host families; facilitating trainings for Peace Corps volunteers and their Georgian counterparts to prepare Peace Corps Volunteers for service, reporting on volunteer accomplishments; and providing information as needed to headquarters and other stakeholders.

I have successfully managed the project, “Examination of Higher Education Reform and the Quality of Higher Education” sponsored by Open Society Foundations’ ($20k) Higher Education Support Program.

Responsible for preparing and sending e-mails, assisting in organizing files, translating documents in English, as well as providing translation during meetings, making appointments, monitoring political news and drafting different reports, providing logistical support and assisting in administrative duties.
