I've been working on the isolation and synthetic modification of natural products for anticancer leads for the past 5.8 years. I have gained experience developing natural products for their improvement in biological activities like anticancer during this time. The molecule I've chosen is Andrographolide, and we're currently modifying it to have an anticancer effect. I've gotten practice using various spectroscopy techniques while carrying out this work, as well as optimizing various named reactions.
