I am a Senior Internal Auditor at the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) where I provide specialist advisory on Internal Controls, Financial Reporting, risk, governance and Compliance to the Kampala and Dar es Salaam offices to ensure delivery of a world class project for Uganda's oil and gas sector. My prior work experience also includes roles at KPMG East Africa, where I worked as an Audit Senior based at the Uganda Office in Kampala, assisting managers and partners to execute efficient and effective audits such as cost recovery audits that are relevant in the Oil and Gas industry. I also worked at Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) as a Compliance Officer, taking a leading role in providing support to the company on compliance to the Group Charter of Authority, Governance, policies, procedures, and SOX regulations compliance within the FMCG industry. I hold a Bsc. in Petroleum Geoscience and Production degree from Makerere University (first class honours), graduating in 2019. I am also ACCA qualified, emerging as overall third best in Uganda in the September 2024 examination sitting. I am also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) International and the Uganda Section, with a keen interest in oil and gas economics, finance and sustainability. Part of a six-man winning team in the annual Total Campus international contest as organised by Totalenergies for students who want to explore the world of energy and become familiar with its challenges. Obtained a grant of €4,000 for a field excursion to the Albertine Graben to map impact of oil and gas activities on the environment in January 2018.
