My role involves mainly overseeing building services systems on the project of Bandaranayake International Airport Terminal Development including the systems of HVAC, fire protection, building automation, Water supply, sewage pumping with a treatment plant, storm water drainage, raw water treatment and passenger lifts & escalator.Duties & Responsibilities• Assisting the project manager in meeting project standards within the project constrains• Monitoring the mechanical work progress and focusing on value of each deliverable• Engaging in design reviews and design modifications for building services systems• Supporting to identifying potential risks and optimizing risk responses• Reviewing various technical documents and contactor’s financial submissions • Coordinating mechanical works with other project activities• Supporting the contract manager in evaluating contractor’s claims for mechanical works

I have been involved in “The New Building” project for Nawaloka hospital - Colombo - Sri Lanka - (17-storey building - Basement, 3rd - 8th floors for car parking areas and other floors for channeling centers and office spaces.)Duties & Responsibilities• Designing the VRV/VRF system for the aforementioned project• Planning and coordinating the project activities to keep the project on track• Timely improving the WBS, the schedule and supporting to develop the project team• Preparing shop drawings and other technical documents for the engineer's approvals• Procuring relevant materials and services, managing and negotiating with relevant suppliers
