It was a life changing experience that helped me connect to people from various walks of life, hear and share amazing stories and help give life to alot of peoples dreams. As a curator my role was connect and collaborate with people across borders who had inspiring stories, bring together communities for a day of learning and sharing. Population First is a communication and advocacy initiative for a balanced, planned and stable population. Their key objectives are to help eliminate the falling sex ratio in India’s population, sensitize the youth and media to gender issues and improve the quality of health and standard of life of India’s rural population with a special focus on women and youth. As a communication specialist my role was to be the media liaison, manage internal and external communication of the organization, conceptualise and execute advocacy campaigns via events, content and press conference.
