Alongside her husband, she took on the challenge of raising Angus bulls, delving into the world of agriculture. In 2002, she turned her dreams into reality by establishing Gowrie Veterinary Clinic—a mixed animal practice that initially resided on their farm. As the years passed, the clinic thrived and eventually found a new home in Inverell.During this time,Gundi faced unique challenge. Raising three children, she also balanced her roles as a veterinarian and farmer. But it was during this demanding phase of her life that she made a life-altering decision—to convert her farm to organic practices. Driven by her unwavering commitment to the well-being of people, pets, and the planet, she embarked on a transformative journey.Along her journey, Dr Rhoades became increasingly aware of the interconnectedness of all things, including soil health, regenerative agriculture, gut health, and the profound relationship between food and human and animal well-being.
