Recent Masters in Public Policy Graduate from the Willy Brandt School in Erfurt Germany.My Master's Thesis, completed in cooperation with the Institute of Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS) in Berlin, examined Covid-19 Impacts on Energy Access Finance - comparing the ongoing pandemic and its effects on off-grid solar investment flows to the broader literature of natural disasters and energy usage.I am currently working with the IASS to use the results from my thesis - and ongoing workshops with sector stakeholders, to compose a policy brief.I am also currently interning with the Peace Innovation Foundation - which involves working on United Nations initiatives as well as the Foundation's Tech Girls program.I have experience with qualitative and quantitative research, a strong background in professional and creative writing, and am proficient in SPSS, MaxQDA, and SQL.Prior to beginning my Master's in Germany, I worked primarily in Education - both in Milwaukee Wisconsin and Beijing, China. After graduating with my Bachelor's in English and Political Science, I through-hiked the Appalachian Trail over the course of six months from Mt. Springer, Georgia, to Mt. Katahdin, Maine.
