Community Equity Program's mission is to deepen engagement of BIPOC communities in the legislative process by building connections to people, communities, groups, and organizations that influence or enact public policy.

I’m working on a new & exciting project to gather ethnographic, qualitative data about youth attitudes & behaviors in regards to parks. Our work will help inform planning by providing policy makers with insights into future desired uses & ways the next generation of citizens would like to engage with the natural world.

In the Fall of 2019, the Capstone team came together to begin working on the Global Mamas project. The team consisted of 5 members. The goal of the project was to transform the organization’s monitoring and evaluation systems to better track and measure the impact of the programs on livelihoods of the women entrepreneurs (the Mamas), both over time and/or benchmarked against relevant publicly available comparison data. Over the past 6 months we were able to identify many tools and techniques to help Global Mamas meet these goals. The team reviewed previous literature, analyzed 16 years of historical data, conducted individual interviews and traveled to Ghana to observe the operations firsthand. The collected work from all this research resulted in the creation of multiple new evaluation tools for different capacity building programs. At the conclusion of the project the client reported this work had a great impact on the organization and will help with future strategic planning. Overall, the team feels very proud to know our work made an impact and will have lasting effects for Global Mamas and the women they work to help achieve sustainable livelihoods and prosperity for their families.

I oversee the daily operations of an independent pharmacy catering to both walk in customers as well as special care facilities in the western suburbs of Minneapolis.

Center Drug 212 Medical Building was part of the Center Drug family of pharmacies. I handled all the intra store communications & multi store POS systems. In February 2011 the Chanhassen pharmacy was moved into the new 212 Medical Center. This store was purchased by a longtime pharmacist of Center Drug & is now independently owned/operated separately.

Olson Brothers Pharmacy was part of the Center Drug family of pharmacies. I handled all the intra store communications & multi store POS systems as well as facilities management. This pharmacy was sold in 2011 due to a loss of lease with no feasible location alternatives.

Chanhassen Center Drug was part of the Center Drug family of pharmacies. I handled all the intra store communications & multi store POS systems as well as facilities management. In February 2011 the pharmacy was moved into the new 212 Medical Center.
