I managed the software product department with responsibility for global development, marketing and support. I initiated and executed a number of radical changes such as; replacement of the regulatory process to a new agile one; a complete rejuvenation of the organization; a total exchange of the technical foundation. I also initiated and started a new strategic direction that will change Radiometer ability to control and deliver quality all over the world.

inRiver leverages corporation’s digital and printed product marketing by simplifying the process of Product Information Management and gathering all the information for all sales channels in one place. My prime focus as president was big account sales and financing of the company. (Managed to triple the company’s value)

I started the that developed an early version of Google documents as a paid service to geographically scattered companies. Revenue was generated through consulting but also to a high degree as a monthly fee for our cloud based product. This new and very early use of internet was a big contribution to the successful sell of the company in 2004.

I was a member of the leadership team when the company was introduced to the Swedish stock market. My contribution was to restructure the consultancy department from a "free" hardware support to business driven consultancy. I doubled the number of consultants and tripled their turnover while increasing the margin from negative to 50%

I quickly joined an artificial intelligence project at an IBM development Lab. The goal was to translate English, German and French into SQL. The reason was to meet the increasing need for ad hoc queries towards the big DB2 databases that IBM customers had started to build. I spent the first years as a prolog programmer and developed a delicate module using first order predicate logic. I got promoted to team leader and later manager. I got the opportunity to work with all aspects of software business such as; Development, defect and non-defect support organization; Customer trials based in US Dallas; it was great years of learning software development close to real customers.
