Facilitated the smooth transition of systems, processes and tools from Vanilla to Higher Logic, post acquisition, and helped educate and train Higher Logic staff. Worked to transform Higher Logic's approach to DevOps and deployment, with significantly more automation and observability to massively increase the speed and reliability of deployments, reducing human toil, and significantly cutting COGS.

Vanilla delivered customized online community software targeted at customer support and brand engagement sectors. Oversaw growth - through two rounds of investment - to its eventual acquisition by Higher Logic in 2021.* Created Infosec team and supervised successful SOC2 audit and accreditation.* Spearheaded expansion into multiple datacentres (including EU).* Shepherded Success team's transformation into Customer Experience organization and corresponding expansion by a factor of 5x.* Created HR team and supported the deployment of ATS and HRMS systems.* Protected and encouraged company culture in support of employee satisfaction and long term human capital growth.

Conceived, designed and implemented the SaaS hosting systems that power Vanilla's offering. * Distributed architecture with fault tolerance and redundancy.* IAC from the start, with a proprietary agent based provisioning and monitoring.* Single pane of glass observability with realtime system metrics.* Multi-provider, multi-cloud and multi-region support.Created and fulfilled Human Resources functions for the organization, including creation of an employee handbook, hiring processes, employee onboarding and offboarding, and the management of all policies related to staff.

Moved hosting from public to private cloud in order to meet performance and reliability goals of the business. Created tooling and production code to enable the open source product to function as a multi-tenant SaaS platform.Created Customer Support team and worked to establish its goals and desired outcomes. Maintained this team through hiring, fostering cultural changes, and training.

As part of a small team, I designed and developed a platform upon which the company was able to launch numerous client websites. I contributed to the reinvention of Mansef's development practices and environment.
