Exigent outsources legal services to firms abroad, which services include document review for discovery in complex legal matters. I was required to:1. Assist clients in the review of documents used in disclosure proceedings;2. Ensure accurate review and categorisation of documentation3. Communicate effectively with clients based in different countries4. Work systematically and diligently within the deadlines of the project

During my clerkship I gained invaluable litigation experience in criminal court, where I applied my skills as defence attorney representing the indigent, whom possessed no means to afford private legal representation. My time at Legal Aid developed an appreciation for circumstance and the keen ability to work effectively with people from all walks of life.
