Undertook Election Analysis for Maharashtra taking into account the election data from 1999 to 2019. Analyzed the data basis 3 parameters - Margin (%), Vote Share (%) and Winning Ratio of political parties in the general elections. Our analysis yielded a methodology for determining the relative stability of the constituencies in terms of their election results basis their voting pattern over the years.This methodology could be instrumental in taking up prospective studies on opinion polls as it aids in the rationalization of sample design. It can also be adopted for other states as well (for both Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha general elections)
