Set up the commodities business for ANZ Banking Group in Asia, managing multiple teams across South & South East Asia and client exposures across Precious Metals, Base Metals, Energy, Agri & Emissions. Successfully ran the mandate to identify acquisition opportunities for the Bank to establish local commodity trading capabilities in South Asia.

Set up the Commodities Desk including Physical Desk in India for Precious Metals catering to lease requirements around Gold, Silver, Platinum, Palladium & Rhodium. Triggered a turnaround story for the region, contributing more than 90% of the Commodities revenue for the bank. Individually contributed 50% to the Bank’s Commodities budget for India and 17% to its global budget.

Managed critical accounts for the Bank across a broad spectrum - Local Large Corporates, Middle Markets, Public Sector Units & Multnational Corporates. Structured and marketed FX & Interest Rate Derivative products. Executed the single largest deal in the history of IDBI Bank and was ranked as the top performing dealer in India.
