Project lead (new product) for end to end product development from Industrialization Project Kick off to launch (SOP).Making & follow up customer Master Schedule. Making & Monitoring DVP&R & Approval of new development parts.PPAP submission & review with customer for new product.Vendor selection, Interaction & follow up with Vendors for new product development, proto type development & tools development to meet customers milestone.Involve in VA/VE activities like cost reduction by selection of material or by optimization of design/process cost, cycle time reduction, alternate source development, CKD parts localization etc. Good understanding of manufacturing processes (Machining, Sheet Metal, Casting, Stamping, Forging, Casting, Assembly etc.), the controlling process parameters and their effects on product.

Design and Development of new product and their tooling.Use of computer-assisted engineering software and equipment like AutoCAD, Assembly Drawings, and sketch Drawings of the dies and punch etc).Design and Development of tools in Bolt Former (Dies, Punch etc for multi station).Prepare the Customer Proposal Drawing for Approval.Preparation of product drawing (using International Standard & Indian Standard) and product sequence drawings for products of different configuration of products.( Hexagon screws/bolts/socket screws).Maintaining all Documents and drawings related to product and Tool.Preparation of Drawings for machine spare parts and components.Technical discussion with customer related to new part development and avoid technical barrier for NPD activities.Coordinating with vendors for product development and delivery at stipulated time.Jig Fixture and Gauges design with an appropriate method and calculations.Knowledge of process like (Cold Forging & Secondary Operation (Pointing, CNC, Grinding, Rolling, Drilling, Tapping, Milling); Heat Treatment Process (Hardening, Tempering), Finishing.
