• Manage employee relations, including advising and counseling executives, directors, managers, supervisors, and employees as the “Trusted Advisor”.• Maintain alignment of business objectives between The Brick and our Parent Company, LFL Group.• Implementing programs and practices designed to meet existing and future business needs, improving consistency and speed of execution.• Deliver recruitment solutions and strategies to ensure labour and talent targets are met regionally.

• Provide Leadership and Guidance to all levels of Management, pertaining to matters such as Labour Relations, Recruitment, Learning and Development• Provide continuous development of the Management team through the creation and application of Learning and Development tools• Support the Development of Talent including proactive succession planning across Business Units.• Conduct Investigations and Provide recommendations on areas of Human Rights, Ministry of Labour and ESA• Provide multi level support for multiple locations within Ontario and the United States

• Provide guidance and support to the management team through consistent, effective partnership • Oversee the creation and implementation of projects related to Distribution Centre Policies• Deliver talent solutions to accelerate performance for those Identified as future talent for the Organization• Manage and guide HR Specialists and Administrators in their respective roles and responsibilities• Support the development of Talent including proactive succession planning across Business Units• Support and enable the achievement of Business Strategies by providing proactive insights based on people and organizational strengths and constraints• Facilitate trainings related to creation of Individual Development Plans, Talent Reviews, and Performance Reviews

Provide Labour Relations and HR guidance within the distribution centre for a client group of over 40 Management Members and approximately 700 Unionized Associates.Support and manage Labour Relations functions within the distribution centre including but not limited to:- Build strong and collaborative relationships across all levels and functions- Progressive Discipline- Attendance Management- Collective Agreement Interpretation- Grievance Process- Creation of Policies and Procedures- Prepare for and attend Arbitrations- Labour Board Hearings- Performance Coaching- Facilitation/Learning & Development
