I’ve had the opportunity to evolve with our product lifecycle while working under one of the core pillars of ivivva, which is product. I’ve been responsible for educating my team about weekly top and bottom sellers, sharing feedback about weekly and monthly product drops to our designers and showrooms across Canada, as well as leading the visual merchandising team. Each week, my team and I create a floor plan of how we want to seamlessly showcase weekly product drops through the execution of window and floor displays and mannequins while leveraging the support of our other pillars.

As a Technical Designer at Kensie, I am responsible for the development and production of woven and knits for the brand Eric + Lani. My role as a technical designer also involves overseeing the development and production of the garments from the initial prototype stage to final salesmen sample. Some of my responsibilities include: • Working with the design team to prepare technical specification packages for initial prototypes • Measuring, fitting and commenting on construction details in order to develop a prototype into a salesman sample• Communicating with vendors and resolving issues relating to technical specification packages and prototypes• Updating and revising sketches that require changes before creating a salesman sample• Providing measurements and construction details in technical specification packages in order to translate a design into a product • Evaluating all prototype samples with the design team and communicating their changes to the vendors on corrections required• Communicating between all departments in regards to creating the highest quality and best fit of all developing products
