From April 2019 to December 2019, I worked at Cambridge Memorial as a Decision Support student analyst. My key responsibilities were to manage and aid in decision making for the rehab department and mental health department. From January 2020 to August 2020, I continued to work at CMH as a Decision Support specialist with the similar responsibilities. Below is the description of some of my responsibilities: • Utilized strong SQL query writing skills to automate statistics collection from data warehouse and used SSRS reporting to create automated data pulls for desired date and timeframe.• Completed SRI-MH quarterly (Self-reporting initiative – Mental Health) to drive CAPS (community accountability planning submission) to the LHIN.• Reported to Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCS).• Designed workflows for clerical and clinical staff in the Mental• Health department to efficiently and accurately complete charting.• Worked closely with clinical and other staff to validate data and input correctly for data collection and CIHI submissions.• Utilized strong communication skills to conduct meetings and help facilitate meetings at all levels to present dashboards and scorecards related to both mental health and the rehab department.• Worked closely with sensitive data relative to the hospital via Meditech.• Completed Ad hoc requests relating to Mental health or rehab data.

While working with at the Grand River Hospital as a IT Student Analyst, my responsibilities included: designing a landing page for both the Biomedical Engineering department and Information Technology department, gathering content from various individuals to develop web-pages, working as a facilitator and interviewer at team meetings to collect content, developing the web-page on Lotus Link and working closely with sensitive data relative to the hospital. One of the major projects that I worked on at GRH was the Encryption Project. During this project, I was responsible for ensuring users had all components necessary to be compliant with the Hospital policies. I was also responsible for troubleshooting and assisting individuals with their devices to reduce errors. Another project that I assisted with was a rollout of a new teleconference service within the hospital. While working on this rollout, I conducted surveys to determine the current functionality of the service and how to improve it for the future state. I communicated with users to determine their needs and helped users get started with the new service once it was rolled out.
