I am a passionate coding enthusiast with a strong affinity for Cyber Security, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Currently, I am a researcher at the Cryptography, Security, and Privacy (CrySP) Lab at the University of Waterloo, pursuing my MMATH thesis under the supervision of Prof. Diogo Barradas. My primary research focuses on leveraging AI to address challenges in Security and Privacy, including synthetic packet generation using advanced models such as Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Models (DDPMs) for censorship circumvention through covert channels. Additionally, I am exploring correlation attacks in anonymized 5G networks, utilizing programmable switches and the P4 programming language for high-speed logical coding.I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, where I had the privilege of working under Dr. Maninder Singh, a renowned professor in the field of Security. Under his mentorship, I undertook a one-year capstone project, funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), to develop a non-invasive tuberculosis detection device. This project involved integrating machine learning techniques with hardware programming to create a novel solution from scratch.I also collaborated with Dr. Jatin Bedi and Dr. Vinay Arora during my time at Thapar, whose invaluable guidance significantly shaped my research endeavors. Together, we explored areas of Deep Learning, ranging from federated learning to transfer learning and CNNs applications for heart health detection. This work culminated in several publications in high-impact journals and conferences.As I advance in my academic and professional journey, I remain dedicated to leveraging technology to solve real-world problems and am eager to collaborate with like-minded professionals to drive impactful innovations.
