I’m passionate about using digital creative media as a source for powerful storytelling. My career interests remain within multimedia journalism, film production, and community outreach work.During my time in college, I worked for the Mast Media newspaper for three years in various roles, from reporter to New Editor, covering issues such as youth voter turnout, food insecurity on campus, students with disabilities navigating inaccessible infrastructure, and the Washington State Senate Debate. I also have a wide range of experience interning at various media organizations and political non-profits, including the Washington Bus, 21 Progress, Tacoma Housing Authority, and Media Business Insight. Some of the issues I care deeply about in my work include conversations on accessibility in higher education, women’s rights, queer rights, and representation in the South Asian American community.
