I am employed as a Registered Behavior Health Technician (RBT), specializing in assisting children with Autism. My responsibilities encompass fostering their self-expression, promoting independence, and enhancing social skills. Collaboratively, I develop treatment strategies in conjunction with both the family and the board-certified behavior analyst. Interacting on a daily basis, I execute the treatment plan by engaging the clients individually. This involves aiding in day-to-day tasks, observing behavior patterns, and actively participating in de-escalation methods.

UC Berkeley's UC DREAMS Lab is focused on understanding the nature of prejudice, bias, and inequality development across numerous social groups, such as Black Americans, Native Americans, Asian Americans, women, and poor individuals. The lab applies methods from social, cultural, and developmental psychology to understand how features of our social and cultural context shape peoples’ attitudes and behaviors in ways that work to reify existing inequalities and stagnate change.Under the supervision of Victoria Keating and Assistant Professor Arianne Eason, I served as an undergraduate researcher. I conducted thorough literature reviews to guide the research direction and identify gaps in the field. Additionally, I gathered data through surveys and organized the collected data into variables suitable for the subsequent data analysis stage. The primary aim of this research was to comprehend the connections formed by children, both Native and non-Native, with their Native counterparts.

During my time at the Undergraduate Lab at Berkeley (ULAB) within the Cognitive Science and Psychology Division, I undertook a year-long research endeavor. This project involved close collaboration with both fellow undergraduates and graduate students, all under the guidance of experienced mentors. Our collaborative efforts spanned the entire research process, commencing with the conception of the research focus, conducting thorough literature reviews, and culminating in data analysis.The focus of our research group shifted from individual stress variables to community trust variables, which led us to conduct an extension study building upon an original study. At the conclusion of the year, we showcased our findings at the ULAB research symposium. Notably, our presentation garnered recognition as we were honored with the awards for both Best Presentation and Best Research Project.

The Physics main office assumed the role of guiding students and faculty members towards the relevant offices to address their inquiries, overseeing departmental finances, coordinating departmental occasions including Physics Colloquium Events and Cal Day, and facilitating arrangements for visiting Professors from various regions.During my tenure as a student assistant, I acquired proficiency in navigating University systems such as BearBuy. Additionally, I developed skills in event coordination, departmental calendar management, communication practices, financial matters, and reservation procedures.

In my capacity as a student assistant, I undertook the pivotal role of effectively managing the laboratory. This encompassed tasks such as maintaining a well-organized inventory and placing orders for essential lab supplies. I also assumed responsibility for overseeing the lab's financial aspects and managing communication channels to ensure efficient operations.Furthermore, I held the responsibility of conducting comprehensive reviews of lab readings and grant proposals, ensuring their quality and coherence before finalization.

Changeist functions as a grassroots platform for civic action, offering a space for young individuals to evolve into agents of social change. Our initiative gathers and empowers youth (ages 11-26) from diverse backgrounds, assembling them into varied teams to partake in a 6-month civic action journey. Through this experience, they delve into the subjects that resonate with them most deeply. Throughout this process, young participants cultivate problem-solving skills in the sociopolitical realm, engage in meaningful dialogues, and foster a sense of community while examining local and global challenges.Our central objective is to construct a diverse community of young people who leverage their personal influence to foster a more equitable society. This is achieved by nurturing their sociopolitical empowerment and enriching their social connections, equipping them with the tools required to enact positive changes in the world.Spanning 22 Saturdays, the program entails a commitment of at least 100 hours from each youth, dedicated to team-based social justice projects. This journey concurrently reinforces character strengths and a growth-oriented perspective. Participants tackle issues through interactive educational methods, hands-on service, and individual as well as team-based introspection. The culmination of the program's final two months sees teams showcasing their learning by executing team-led service projects and engaging in externship experiences.As an Americorps Member, my role entailed guiding Stockton's youth towards their own leadership growth and the enhancement of organizational skills. I collaborated with them to craft and facilitate curriculum, while also fostering partnerships with local organizations that share our commitment to community well-being.

Fraction operates as an innovative software startup, situated in San Francisco's Union Square. Our primary focus lies in aiding the growth of small businesses by providing them with robust customer acquisition and retention software solutions. Presently, our flagship product involves a versatile platform designed to generate, distribute, and accept digital offers, aimed at attracting a greater customer base to small and medium-sized business (SMB) establishments.In my capacity as a sales intern, I engaged in proactive outbound sales efforts, identifying and cultivating new business prospects. This role also presented the potential for future involvement in business closure activities, as well as offering support in the process of transitioning merchants from the contract stage to active account management.
