Working on our client Humana's Healthcare Claim and Encounter Management System

Coordinate with Business owners, Application Vendors, Business Project Teams, Payers, and Clearinghouses to bring all processes to a level of execution to mitigate any impact to current revenue flow under the 5010-compliancy requirements for Medicare/Medicaid products.Have a strong understanding of State/Commercial Medicare Claims, Benefit Plans, Claims Payment Cycle, Waiver Programs, and Reference.Conduct working sessions with state Medicare / Medicaid team to gather and document high-level business requirements and detailed level business requirements for different business units impacted by ICD 10 such as EDI Claims Intake, Medical Management, Utilization Management, Case management, and Provider Reimbursement - Provider Payment.Follow the Agile methodology to write user-stories and acceptance criteria and deliver new plan implementations for the State organizations, Vendors, and Clearinghouses.Work closely on HL7, 837, 270/271, 276/277, 820, 835, 834 Medicare / Medicaid X12/paper claim EDI transactions by reviewing the companion guides and validating the EDI files in EDIFECS Transaction Manager.Worked on mapping the EDI HL7 data for Labcorp, Quest Diagnostics, BioReference to XML in Edifecs for loading into the data warehouse.Using Teradata client application for accessing Datawarehouse data for creating reports and dashboards.Design robust 5010 testing and regression SIT and UAT Testing Scripts for the 5010 Project. The Company already has a desktop dental practice management application that is used by more than 1000 clients. Now the company is building a cloud version of this application. My responsibilities were to:Understand the desktop based dental application and create the Epics, Features, Product Backlog Items in Team Foundation Server.Interact with the business stakeholders to understand the vision and set the milestones for each delivery cycle.Prepare the wireframes and create the acceptance criteria for the Product Backlog Items (PBIs).Refine the PBIs weekly with the design, development and testing team.Facilitate the daily standup meetings and update the stakeholders about the status of the project in Scrum of Scrum meetings.Conduct the QA activities for the developed PBIs and give demonstration to stakeholders at the end of the sprint.Conduct weekly meetings with team leads from QA and Development team to explain functional requirement and address questions.Work with the product owner for getting the product ready for UAT and beta testing by the external testers. Collect the beta testing feedback and accommodate the improvements in the product roadmap.
