Provide technical support to Operations personnel in emergency situations including hitline response, gas odors, and outages. Role involves responding to daytime and after hour emergency situations assessing and triaging emergency scenarios, problem solving unique situations in high stress environments and responding to first responders as required.• Execute hydraulic and simulation modelling of the pipeline system to address operational challenges and ensure optimal system operability.• Provide technical support and design specifications to different lines of business including Engineering, Sales, Construction Services, Operations, Community Expansion and Business Development• Create project scope statements to justify future distribution projects including RNG projects, stations projects and community expansion projects• Develop and recommend preferred solutions to manage capacity and reliability of the distribution system• Provide feasibility for new residential and commercial growth along with community expansion projects• Support rate applications filings • Conduct long range planning studies

-Developed, designed and executed large scale projects ranging from $1 million to $5 million as part of ATCO Gas' high profile SMR program, for a total of $50 million in completed projects.-Led multi-disciplinary teams of 5 to 20+ team members to execute gas utility and pipeline projects with high level of public visibility, technical complexity and demanding timelines.-Responsibilities included writing complex construction procedures, detailed design, project cost estimates, permit approvals, project scheduling, material selection, resource and contract management, cost monitoring and project close-out.-Facilitated project coordination by providing contract management and technical support to Construction, Operations, Engineering and Planning.-Analyzed and monitored project costs and streamlined progress reporting during design and construction to ensure project metrics were met.-Completed Accruals, monthly forecasting and Information Requests (IRs) responses for General Rate Application filings and other regulatory filings as required. -Negotiated with municipalities and external agencies to minimize conflicts and maximize cost sharing opportunities for main and service relocations.

-Completed a comprehensive study of the integrity and cathodic protection system company-wide and implemented an anode program to resolve all problematic areas.-Reviewed distribution drawings and recommended changes to maintain or improve cathodic protection systems.-Identified, prioritized and justified replacement areas for the 2013 and 2014 SMR Program.-Developed tools for monitoring and analyzing cathodic protection data to streamline progress reporting.
