I had to fulfill two types of mission while occupying this position:On one hand, I had responsabilities concerning education. I was responsible for teaching mostly quantitative methods and research methods to social sciences students (from BA1 to MA2). I wrote course material and I supervised student's work and/or thesis. I also was involved in the daily functionning of the faculty. I was the assistants delegate and developped a management tool to help decreasing work inequalities among assistants and prevail institutionnal abuses.On the other hand, I had a duty to lead research activities. I then got involved in several research project and led a PhD thesis. While I sometimes used qualitative methods, I mostly did research using quantitative methods. I was responsible for the research partners coordination, data collection, data analysis and data reporting (report writing and oral communications) of a feasibility study of a federal reform called "towards better cares in mental health", a.k.a. "Title 107". Most of the time I was therefore communicating with researchers from other universities or mental health institutions taking part in the project, coding in SAS for data management or analysis purposes and writing survey conclusions to policymakers.You will find the final outcome of that experience here below.
