I am Gurpreet Singh Bawa, currently pursuing a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I completed my 12th grade at Army Public School, Janglot in Jammu and Kashmir. Since joining Gitam University, Hyderabad, my first year has been successful, and my overall academic performance has been excellent.I've had a fulfilling college experience so far, actively engaging in various extracurricular activities. I've become a member of several clubs, including G Electra Smart Systems Club, the Innovation Center, and the E-club. Additionally, I've participated in numerous competitions, some of which were at the national level, including those hosted by IITs. Overall, I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at college and have been actively involved in both academic and extracurricular pursuits.Over the course of 2022 and 2023, I actively participated in a series of transformative professional development events, showcasing a commitment to staying at the forefront of technology. I attended a Smart Irrigation System Smart IoT Solutions Workshop, gaining valuable insights into the latest trends in smart agriculture and IoT applications. Engineers Day provided a platform to delve into rescue robotics, enhancing my knowledge in this critical engineering application. Competing in the Cozmo Clench and Mesmerize Zonal Level competition demonstrated my skills and innovation in robotics, earning me recognition at a zonal level. At Atmos BITS Pilani, I represented in Home Automation, securing a commendable 2nd place and acknowledgment of Rescue Robot capabilities. Techfest 2022 at IIT Bombay further showcased my versatility as I achieved 4th place in both Home Automation and RC Boat categories. Additionally, I contributed to the E-Yantra Robotics Competition by developing a self-balancing robot. In the Smart India Hackathon Internal Round, my team secured the 3rd position for our innovative Prosthetic arm project. Lastly, my participation in the Techfest Edition 2023 Zonal event highlighted my continued involvement in prestigious competitions, emphasizing my commitment to professional development and providing exposure to the latest advancements in technology.
