I took some steps towards a degree in Sociology. However, around the same time, I discovered Codecademy and W3Schools and started to play around with the tools that make up the backbone of web development. This soon blossomed into a fascination with development, watching video tutorials into the night and dreaming of projects I wanted to create. I sought out professional advice from a developer who advised that a boot camp would provide me with the tools I would need to progress and have now graduated from General Assembly. Ever since I have not looked back. Each day, as I learn more code and uncover new bugs, my zeal and passion for pursuing a career in software engineering grows even greater. I am looking for a role which will allow me to assist the growth of the company as well as grow with my knowledge and experience within the software engineering world.
