I was the Division controller for the South Florida region of Maxim Groups retail carpet and flooring chain. It required full management of AP, AR, completion of financial statements, both locally and for consolidation purposes. I was with them for about two years. I continued to provide financials as a contractor until they filed chapter 11 and closed their retail outlets.

 Installed Data-Pro financial package for the corporation. Supervised daily Accounts Payable/ Receivable, Credit and Collections processing. Prepared all end of month closing entries. Prepared consolidating entries for holding company and subsidiaries and prepared consolidated financial statements for parent company. Prepared all interim financial statements. Supervised purchasing and warehouse functions. Filed all required monthly and quarterly tax filings (sales tax, payroll tax) Cash flow projections and cash management. Coordination and supervision of annual external audits and tax preparation.Software Used: OMD, DataPro, Excel
