I worked as an intern and learnt about the compliances a company follows on a day to day basis. My key learnings from this role are :•Gained hands-on experience in recording day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring that the bank statement and passbook entries are accurately reconciled.•Developed practical skills in maintaining a cashbook, including the systematic recording of receipts and payments.•Conducted follow-up calls to defaulters who failed to pay their monthly chit amounts, enhancing communication and debt recovery abilities.•Acquired practical knowledge in preparing a Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS) to align cashbook and bank statement balances.•Strengthened the ability to assess the financial position of a company through detailed analysis and reconciliation practices.

Started as an intern, my key learnings from this role are •GST return filling, GST registration, book keeping, one on one client based firm dealings and computation of financial statements. •Initiated client-based firm-based dealings by assisting in GST return filling, GST registration, book keeping, and taxation. •Provided financial and accounting service by maintaining book keeping and ledger maintenance using tools like MS office, excel and tally software.
