 Looking after UTC systems (SCALA/PCSCOOT/OMNIA) operations, specifically related to C900, ST950, ITC2 and ITC3 series controllers programming, validation, and re-validation of SCOOT operated signalized intersections. Responsible for the preparation, implementation, checking, and fine-tuning of traffic signal timing plans with the associated before and after studies and developing SCOOT Model in coordination with the project team. Working closely with the Senior Traffic Operations Engineer, TMC Supervisors, and client Engineers in the preparation of various strategies and timing plans (Fixed-Time UTC/SCOOT) required for the successful management of day-to-day operations and events ensuring the efficient traffic signal operations and coordination with the various stakeholders as per the approved workflow. Oversee new intersection commissioning and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at the field and perform the necessary validation checks from the central system. Analyze the traffic network of the Emirate and prepare a yearly plan for traffic signal review and performance validation for the client's endorsement. Continuously review traffic signals to identify operational and system issues and propose suitable solutions to the client and implement those solutions in close coordination with client ITS and Traffic Engineers. Preparation of technical reports and presentations in close coordination with the Senior Traffic Operations Engineer and the Project Manager. Review Traffic Studies/ Detour reports provided by the client Engineering team or Road Contractors and successfully perform required interpretations in UTC/ SCOOT parameters.

As a Graduate Engineer, I worked on various transportation consulting projects along with Prof Tom V Mathew.•Traffic Circulation Plan for Mumbai International Airport Limited–Terminal 2: Traffic movements are to be shifted to one side of the terminal for the renovation of the old terminal building. Data Analysis, LOS, and parking facility requirements were evaluated .A simulation model was also developed using traffic simulation package “VISSIM” to test the model.•Evaluation of Area-wide Traffic Control Systems (ATCS) for Jaipur City: Conducted the evaluation of area traffic control system developed by CDAC Trivandrum named Composite Signal Control Strategy (CoSiCoSt) which is deployed. The project aim is to evaluate and bring out advantages of ATCS against fixed timing signals.•Traffic and Transportation Study for Bhopal: The work includes travel demand modeling, link volume studies, speed-delay studies, Intersection analysis, and parking studies for the city of Bhopal.
