About Nathanael Moss
IT professional since January 2012. Open source advocate and former community organizer.I find myself doing a wide variety of work in my career, from developing inventory management systems in GoLang and Powershell, to making photographs and promotional videos for the companies I work for. I have a love for all things computer and cloud.Linux has long been a passion of mine. I find the interaction with a computer from a Linux terminal to be almost artful. I don't lock myself down to just Linux though. I also enjoy working with Windows, Mac, ChromeOS and cloud, all of which I do to some extend in my current job. In the cloud, I've worked with Linode, Google Cloud, and Oracle cloud to some extent, and have enjoyed those platforms immensely too.Technology lends us incredible powers of creation. Creatives like myself are not only able to solve problems more easily with it, but can communicate in new and exciting ways. I find myself doing some form of digital art every week, whether it be a vector graphic in Inkscape, a video in Kdenlive, or processing photos in Darktable. One of the core reasons that I chose a career in IT is because it impacts every area of life, and allows me to 'tour the world' so to speak, and learn about the widest variety of disciplines. This gives me insight and perspective that is often unique.
