No change in compressor operation logic allowed4. reliability target of 99.5% against assured life of 40,000 Hr run time.5. No major changes ( which demands for casting changes) to be made on Inlet valve to mount modulation circuit Approach:1. Concept generation: Developed couple of concepts and shortlisted using Pugh matrix approach2. Design Validation: prepare DFMEA document and Build a proto version for checking functional test and build confidence with observation to make necessary design correction (If required)3. Detail design: Complete concept design considering the optimal way of manufacturing, suitable material selection and prepare drawings4. Supplier search: With the help of sourcing team identify suitable and reliable supplier who can meet our technical requirements and cost targets5. Endurance Test: Complete Endurance to validate the concept to meet functional requirement and reliability target numbers6. Assist cooling system for sizing and validation using analytical & CFD tool (Ansys CFD) and drawing creation using Creo. a. Analytical calculations for sizing water coolers for 800kW and 2000kW capacity machines b. CFD simulation for pressure drop and flow distribution study ( Geometry clean up, fluid domain creation, define boundary condition, Post process results) c. Detail drafting of coolers and review same before uploading to Windchill and release of drawings.Additional work:Validated optimal angle of Inlet guide Vanes for centrifugal machine using Analytical approach and validation of analytical results by comparing CFD results.
